GOVERNMENT REGULATION
of 14 February 1968
amending and supplementing Government Regulation No. 118 / 1968 Coll., on the stabilisation levy on consumer and production cooperative organisations
The Government of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic orders pursuant to Article 9 of Act No. 83 / 1966 Coll., on the fourth Five-Year Plan for the Development of the National Economy of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic:
Government Decree No. 118 / 1966 Coll., on the stabilisation levy on consumer and production cooperative organisations, is amended as follows:

(1) The stabilisation levy shall not be increased until 31 December 1970 by the consumer cooperative organisations, trade associations of production cooperatives and non-industrial production cooperatives pursuant to Article 8 (2) of the Act.
(2) The industrial production cooperatives will not receive a stabilization levy until 31 December 1970, pursuant to Paragraph 8 (2) of the Act, for that part of the annual increase in the number of workers corresponding to the share of the production of orders for the population, maintenance and repair activities and services from the increase in total output. If the share of these works exceeds 50% of the total output, the total increase in the stabilisation levy may amount to a maximum of 2% of the wage paid.
(3) For consumer cooperatives, the stabilisation levy shall be set at 30% of the amount of the wage paid, which exceeds 90% of the average annual salary planned for 1968 and the number of employees in the year for which the contribution is calculated.
(4) The Ministry of Finance shall decide, after a statement by the Association of Production Cooperatives, whether the organisation is considered to be a non-industrial production cooperative in accordance with paragraph 1. '
2. In Article 3 (2), the words "production cooperatives of personal and other services (non-industrial) 'and the words" and commercial undertakings of the Union of Production Cooperatives' are deleted.
3. In Article 3, paragraphs 3 and 4 are deleted.
4. In Paragraph 4, the sentence of the following text is added to paragraph 1: "Industrial production cooperatives shall not be eligible for a premium on the stabilisation levy if the proportion of the activities referred to in paragraph 2 (2) exceeds 50% of the total output; in other cases, this premium may not be determined on the part of the wages paid which is not subject to an increase in the stabilisation levy provided for in Paragraph 2 (2). ';
(1) This Regulation provides for the implementation of stabilisation levies starting in 1968.
(2) This Regulation shall enter into force on the day of its publication.
