DECLARATION
of 26 May 2017
on the issue of a commemorative silver 500 crown for the 100th anniversary of the battle at Zborov
The Czech National Bank provides pursuant to § 22 (a) of Act No. 6 / 1993 Coll., on the Czech National Bank, as amended by Act No. 442 / 2000 Coll.:
(1) On 28 June 2017, the 100th anniversary of the Battle of Zborov is issued a commemorative silver coin of 500 CZK (hereinafter referred to as the "five hundred crowns").
(2) Five hundred koruna is issued in the normal version and in a special version with polished field of coin and matte relief (hereinafter referred to as "special version").
(3) Five hundred crowns in normal and special design are rolled from an alloy containing 925 parts of silver and 75 parts of copper. The weight of five hundred crowns is 25 g, its diameter is 40 mm and 2.65 mm. In the case of embossing of five hundred crowns in normal and special design, the tolerance shall be 0,1 mm in diameter and 0,15 mm in thickness. In mass the tolerance is up to 0,50 g and in silver content the tolerance is up to 1%. The edge of the five hundred crown in normal design is serrated, the edge of the five hundred crown in special design is smooth with the feature "CZECH NATIONAL BANKA * Ag 0.925 * 25 g *."
(1) On the front side of the five-hundred crown, the battle against the Austrian-Hungarian monarchy represented by the Austrian imperial heraldry-stylized eagle is expressed symbolically by the signs of the future Czechoslovakia. There is a copy of the text "CZECH REPUBLIC" and the denomination of the coin with the abbreviation of the money unit "500 CZK." The brand of the Czech Mint, which consists of the composition of the letters "No" and "M", is placed at the top right edge of the coin.
(2) On the reverse side of the five hundred crown is shown a scene from the battlefield. The text "BITVA U ZBOROVA" and "1917 - 2017" are in the unclosed copy at the top edge of the coin. On the right from 2017 there is a brand of Asamata Baltaeva, DiS. coin
(3) The image of the five hundred crowns is given in the annex to this decree.
This Decision shall enter into force on 28 June 2017.
