GOVERNMENT REGULATION
of 3 August 1994
shortening civil service for certain citizens
The Government mandates pursuant to § 1 (4) of Act No. 18 / 1992 Coll., on Civil Service:
(1) Citizens who have submitted a declaration of refusal of military basic service before 29 July 1993 and who are required to carry out a 27-month civil service shall be reduced to 18 months.
(2) Citizens who submitted a declaration of refusal of military basic service before 29 July 1993 during the course of the military basic service, which was to last 18 months, are reduced by one third.
(3) Citizens referred to in paragraphs 1 and 2 who, at the date of application of this Regulation, perform a civil service shall cease to perform it if they have performed it for at least the length laid down in paragraph 1 or 2.
This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 September 1994.
