of 19 December 1968
on the definition of the competence of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic in press matters and other information means
The National Assembly of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic decided on this law:
The Czechoslovak Socialist Republic's competence in press matters and other information means include:
(a) establish the principles of state policy on this section and coordinate its implementation;
(b) to establish and manage publishing undertakings and other organisations and facilities to disseminate information within the framework of the tasks and responsibilities of the Federation;
(c) adopt legislation on the press and other means of information;
(d) establish the principles of publishing law.
This Act shall take effect on 1 January 1969.
