amending Act No. 187 / 2006 Coll., on sickness insurance, as amended, and Act No. 362 / 2009 Coll., amending certain laws in connection with the draft Act on the Czech State Budget 2010
Parliament has decided on this law of the Czech Republic:
Amendment to the sickness insurance law
Act No. 187 / 2006 Coll., on sickness insurance, as amended by Act No. 585 / 2006 Coll., Act No. 181 / 2007 Coll., Act No. 261 / 2007 Coll., Act No. 239 / 2008 Coll., Act No. 305 / 2008 Coll., Act No. 306 / 2008 Coll., Act No. 479 / 2008 Coll., Act No. 2 / 2009 Coll., Act No. 41 / 2009 Coll., Act No. 158 / 2009 Coll., Act No. 227 / 2009 Coll., Act No. 302 / 2009 Coll., Act No. 303 / 2009 Coll., Act No. 362 / 2009 Coll., is amended as follows:
1. Paragraph 21a is deleted.
2. § 37a is deleted;
3. Paragraph 40a is deleted.
Transitional provisions
1. If entitlement to monetary assistance in maternity or compensatory allowance in pregnancy and maternity occurs before the date of entry into force of this Act and lasts after that date, this benefit shall be granted in accordance with legislation effective before the date of entry into force of this Act until the end of the calendar month in which it takes effect and from the following calendar month in accordance with that Act.
2. A person who received monetary assistance in maternity during the period from 1 January 2010 to the effective date of this Act shall be entitled to the payment of such assistance in aggregate for that period, calculated as the difference between the amount of monetary assistance in maternity under Act No. 187 / 2006 Coll., on sickness insurance, as effective before 1 January 2010, and the amount of monetary assistance in maternity under Act No. 187 / 2006 Coll., on sickness insurance, as effective after 1 January 2010, until the date of its effectiveness.
Amendment to the Act amending certain laws in connection with the draft Act on the State Budget of the Czech Republic 2010
In Article XIV of Act No. 362 / 2009 Coll., amending certain laws in connection with the draft Act on the State Budget of the Czech Republic 2010, point 4 is deleted.
EFFECTIVE
That law shall take effect on the first day of the calendar month following its publication.
