THE LAW
of 19 December 1968
on the definition of the competence of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic in matters of internal order and security
The National Assembly of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic decided on this law:
§ 1
The Czechoslovak Socialist Republic's competence in matters of internal order and security includes:
(a) coordinate the activities of the authorities of the two Republics in the management of the armed security forces;
(b) manage those armed security forces designated to perform specific tasks in the protection of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and in the protection of federal authorities and institutions;
(c) the exercise of state administration in matters of association after the agreement of both Republics, if it is an organisation operating throughout the territory of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic,
(d) the principles governing the protection and protection of state and economic secrets in federal authorities and institutions;
(e) the rules governing the borders of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and the State symbols of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic,
(f) road traffic rules.
§ 2
This Act shall take effect on 1 January 1969.
