of 8 June 2023
on the total number of customers receiving electricity and the total amount of gas consumed in the Czech Republic in 2022
The Energy Regulatory Authority, in accordance with Article 17d (5) of Act No. 458 / 2000 Coll., on the Terms and Conditions of Business and on the Performance of State Administration in the Energy Sector and on the Amendment of Certain Laws (Energy Act), as amended, publishes, for the purpose of determining the annual amount of the special charge for the activity of the Energy Regulatory Authority, according to the data submitted by the system operators to the market operator in the Czech Republic, the total number of demand points of electricity customers and the total gas consumption in the Czech Republic in 2022:
1. The total number of electricity customers' collection points on 31 December 2022 was 6 240 851.
2. Total gas consumption in the Czech Republic in 2022 was 81 294 178,202 MWh.
