GOVERNMENT REGULATION
of 7 June 2000
on certain measures implementing Act No. 349 / 1999 Coll., on the Ombudsman
The Government orders the implementation of Act No. 349 / 1999 Coll., on the Ombudsman:
(1) The Office of the Ombudsman ("the Office") is hereby established. The office is a budget organization.
(2) Head of the Office is the Head of the Office. The Head of the Office shall appoint and dismiss the Ombudsman.
The Office identification number is determined by the Czech Statistical Office.
Until the establishment of the Head of the Office pursuant to Paragraph 1 (2) of this Regulation, the full activities of the Head of the Office shall be carried out by the person entrusted by the Government.
This Regulation shall enter into force on the day of its publication.
