amending and supplementing Act No. 482 / 1991 Coll., on Social Needs, as amended by Act No. 84 / 1993 Coll.
Parliament has decided on this law of the Czech Republic:
Act No. 482 / 1991 Coll., on social needs, as amended by Act No. 84 / 1993 Coll., is amended as follows:
1. In the second sentence of Paragraph 7 (1), the words "provided that they live together 'are added at the end.
2. in Article 7 (3) and (4):
"(3) When assessing the social needs of the citizens referred to in paragraphs 1 and 2, it shall not be examined whether they may increase their income by themselves or whether the spouse or children have a maintenance obligation against them.
(4) The citizen referred to in paragraphs 1 and 2 shall be granted a monthly cash allowance equal to the difference between his income and the amount of the pension provided to the individual as the sole source of income, (7) increased by the national compensatory allowance (8), in respect of the amount due to the pensioner, if he cares for one person; where two or more persons are cared for, a monthly cash allowance equal to the difference between their income and the amount of the pension provided as the sole source of income to the married couple shall be granted, (7) increased by the state compensatory allowance (8) to the amount due to the pensioner. ';
This Act shall take effect on the day of its publication.
