THE LAW
of 11 June 1998
amending Act No. 500 / 1990 Coll., on the Jurisdiction of the Bodies of the Czech Republic concerning transfers of State ownership to other legal or natural persons, as amended
Parliament has decided on this law of the Czech Republic:
Act No. 500 / 1990 Coll., on the Jurisdiction of the Bodies of the Czech Republic in Matters of Transfers of State Property to Other Legal or Natural Persons, as amended by Act No. 438 / 1991 Coll., Act No. 282 / 1992 Coll., Act No. 473 / 1992 Coll., Act No. 170 / 1993 Coll., Act No. 155 / 1994 Coll., Act No. 191 / 1994 Coll., Act No. 218 / 1994 Coll. and Act No. 161 / 1997 Coll., is amended as follows:
1. In Article 15 (2), the dot at the end of point (l) is replaced by a comma and the following points (m) and (n) are added:
"(m) to transfer CZK 5,48 billion to a special account of state financial assets to cover the necessary expenses incurred by the disappearance of material burdens on property issued to authorised persons and to cover the necessary expenses related to compensation for State property used for research and development purposes by authorised persons, broken down by: Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs CZK 2,75 billion, Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports, Ministry of Culture CZK 2,293 billion, Ministry of Culture CZK 0,324 billion, Ministry of Health CZK 0,113 billion,
n) to transfer CZK 4 billion to a special account of state financial assets to increase the funds still committed to cover the necessary expenditure in connection with the renewal of buildings, infrastructure, telecommunications networks, watercourses and water facilities damaged or destroyed as a result of a flood disaster in 1997 and other related damage. "
2. In Article 15, the following paragraph 4 is inserted after paragraph 3:
"(4) The Government of the Czech Republic shall inform the Chamber of Deputies of Parliament of the Czech Republic at least once a year, for the first time in 1998, of the use of the funds, including the actual cost of specific actions referred to in paragraph 2 (l) to (n)."
Paragraphs 4 to 6 shall be renumbered paragraphs 5 to 7.
This Act shall take effect on the day of its publication.
