Minister for Finance
of 30 July 1964
on the issue of commemorative silver ten crowns on the 20th anniversary of the Slovak National Uprising
The Minister of Finance declares pursuant to § 2 (2) of Decree No. 35 / 1954 Coll., on commemorative coins:
(1) To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Slovak National Rebellion held in 1964, commemorative silver ten crowns are issued.
(2) The silver 10krones are drawn from a mixture of 500 pieces of silver, 400 parts of copper, 50 parts of nickel and 50 parts of zinc. The gross weight of the 10 crown is 12 g. When embossed, the tolerance is up and down in gross weight 10 / 1000 and in silver purity 5 / 1000. The diameter of the 10-crown is 30 mm and its edge is smooth with the inscription "SLOVAK NATIONAL GUIDELINE ', which is made by influence.
(3) On the face of the commemorative silver ten crown is the state emblem of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic, under which the name of the author Adolf Havelka "A. H." and around it in the semicircle the inscription "CZESKOSLOVAK SOCIALISTIC REPUBLIC."
On the reverse are three hands with symbols of industry, agriculture and working intelligence - gear wheel, grain cob and logarithmic ruler with circle, supplemented by lime branch with ribbon. On the top right is the denomination of the value of the coin "10," on the bottom left on the ribbon year "1944-1964," on the bottom right also on the ribbon of the Slovak National Uprising "SNP" and under it the name of the author "KOLÁŘSKÝ."
This decree shall take effect on the day of its publication.
