DECLARATION
of 1 June 2023
laying down the activities to be carried out by a doctor without professional supervision after obtaining a certificate of completion of the paediatric primary strain
According to § 37 (1) (k) for the implementation of § 4 (4) (a) of Act No. 95 / 2004 Coll., on the conditions for obtaining and recognising professional competence and specialised competence for the pursuit of the medical profession of physician, dental practitioner and pharmacist, as amended by Act No. 67 / 2017 Coll.:
The doctor may, after obtaining a certificate of completion of the primary paediatric strain without professional supervision
(a) indicate and interpret basic imaging methods and laboratory tests;
(b) indicate medicinal products and medical devices except radiopharmaceuticals and cytostatics;
(c) to carry out treatment and excochleation of moluses and similar skin lesions;
d) perform basic treatment of burns, frostbite, chemical and radiation injuries;
e) perform the uncomplicated removal of a foreign body from the ear and nose;
(f) perform basic and extended cardiopulmonary resuscitation,
(g) to carry out treatment and care for the physiological newborn;
(h) indicate, perform and evaluate tests using rapid diagnostic methods;
(i) to perform a single bladder catheter or permanent urinary catheter, including the collection of sterile urine in children without age or gender limitations;
(j) introduce probes to decompress the digestive tract or enteral nutrition and perform gastric lavage;
(k) indicate the infusion treatment and carry out its schedule;
(l) to carry out the capture of a child at risk by the behaviour and use of addictive substances, including the short intervention and education of both the child and the family and the proposal for further individual treatment;
(m) on the basis of a health assessment to issue:
1. Decision on the creation, duration and cessation of temporary incapacity for work;
2. the decision on the establishment, duration and termination of the need for care for sickness insurance under the sickness insurance law; and
3. confirmation of the temporary inability of the jobseeker to fulfil the obligations of the jobseeker due to sickness or accident for the needs of the Labour Office of the Czech Republic - Regional Branch and Branch for the City of Prague according to the Employment Act.
Efficacy
This Decree shall take effect on 1 July 2023.
