DECLARATION
of 18 July 2014
on the issue of commemorative silver two hundred crowns for the 100th anniversary of the founding of Czechoslovak legions
The Czech National Bank provides pursuant to § 22 (a) of Act No. 6 / 1993 Coll., on the Czech National Bank, as amended by Act No. 442 / 2000 Coll.:
§ 1
(1) On 6 August 2014, the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Czechoslovak legions is issued a commemorative silver coin of CZK 200 (hereinafter referred to as the "two hundred crowns").
(2) Two hundred koruna is issued in the normal version and in a special version with polished field of coin and matte relief (hereinafter "special version").
(3) The two-hundred korona in normal and special design is rolled from an alloy containing 925 parts of silver and 75 parts of copper. The weight of two hundred crowns is 13 g, its diameter is 31 mm and its strength is 2,35 mm. In the case of an embossing of two hundred crowns in normal and special design, the tolerance shall be 0,1 mm in diameter and 0,15 mm in thickness. In mass, the tolerance shall be up to 0,26 g and in the silver content shall be up to 1%. The edge of two hundred crowns in normal design is serrated, the edge of two hundred crowns in special design is smooth with the feature "CZECH NATIONAL BANKA * Ag 0.925 * 13 g *."
§ 2
(1) On the front of the two-hundred crown is a banner with the sign of Czechoslovak legions used in their recruitment centres. Under the picture of the battalion is the denomination of the coin with the abbreviation "200 CZK." At the left and bottom edges of the two-hundred crown, the name of the state is "CZECH REPUBLIC." The brand of the Czech Mint consisting of the composition of the letters "No" and "M" is to the left of the image of the flag.
(2) On the reverse side of the two-hundred crown are the figures of four legionaries - on the left is the Russian legionnaire, on the front is the French legionnaire, behind it is the Italian and the Serbian legionnaire at the back. At the left, lower and right edges of the two hundred crown, the text is "THE VIEW OF THE CZECH LEGISLATION." Under the picture of a French legionnaire, the years are "1914-2014." At the right edge of the two-hundredth crown under the picture of the rifle, the initials of the author are the two-hundredth crown of Luboš Charvat, which are composed of the interconnected letters "LCH."
(3) The picture of the two hundred crown is given in the annex to this decree.
§ 3
This Decision shall enter into force on 6 August 2014.
