Decree of the Minister of Finance
of 7 March 1957
on the issue of commemorative silver 10kroner to the celebrations of J. A. Komenský in 1957.
The Minister of Finance declares pursuant to § 2 (2) of Decree No. 35 / 1954 Coll., on commemorative coins:
§ 1
(1) To the celebrations of J. A. Komenský in 1957, the commemorative silver ten crowns are issued.
(2) The silver 10krones are drawn from a mixture of 500 pieces of silver, 400 parts of copper, 50 parts of nickel and 50 parts of zinc. The gross weight of the 10 crown is 12 g. In the case of stamping, the deviation up and down is allowed in gross weight 10 / 1000 and in silver purity 5 / 1000. The diameter of the 10 crown is 30 mm and its edge is grafted.
(3) On the face of the commemorative silver ten crown is the state emblem of the Czechoslovak Republic, around it the inscription "REPUBLIC OF CZECHOSLOVSKÁ" and the year of production "1957." On the back is a portrait of J. A. Komenský, in the left half of the circle inscription "J. A. KOMENSKÝ," in the right half of the period "1592" and "1670" in two rows, followed by an abbreviation of the author's name "D" and in the lower part of the middle is the value of the coin "10 CZK."
§ 2
This decree shall take effect on the day of its publication.
