DECLARATION
of 18 April 2008
on the issue of commemorative silver CZK 200 for the 150th anniversary of the birth of Viktor Ponrep
The Czech National Bank provides pursuant to § 22 (a) of Act No. 6 / 1993 Coll., on the Czech National Bank, as amended by Act No. 442 / 2000 Coll.:
(1) The 150th anniversary of the birth of the pioneer of Viktor Ponrep's cinematography is issued with commemorative silver two hundred crowns (hereinafter referred to as "two hundred crowns"). The picture of the two hundred crown is given in the annex to this decree.
(2) Two hundred koruna is issued in the normal version and in a special version intended for collector's purposes with a polished field of coin and matte relief (hereinafter referred to as the special version).
(3) Two hundred korona in normal and special design is rolled from an alloy containing 900 parts of silver and 100 parts of copper. The weight of the two-hundredth crown is 13 g, its diameter 31 mm and its strength 2,2 mm. The edge of two hundred crowns in normal version is serrated, the edge of two hundred crowns in special version is smooth with the feature "CZECH NATIONAL BANKA * Ag 0.900 * 13 g *." In the case of an embossing of two hundred crowns in normal and special design, the tolerance shall be 0,1 mm in diameter and 0,15 mm in thickness. In mass, the tolerance shall be up to 0,26 g and in the silver content shall be up to 1%.
(1) There is a projector on the cheek of a two-hundredth crown from which stylized currents of light come. Among them is the name of the state "CZECH REPUBLIC" and the denomination of the coin with the abbreviation "200 CZK" in three rows. The mark of the mint which struck the two-hundred crown is placed at the right edge of the two-hundred crown between the legs of the projector stand.
(2) On the reverse of two hundred crowns is the hat and moustache as characteristic of Viktor Ponrep. At the left and right edges of the two hundred crown, the "VIKTOR PONREPO" copy is open. At the lower edge of the two-hundredth crown, the years "1858 - 2008" are separated from the copy and among themselves a securely styled decoration. The author of the design of the two-hundredth crown is Jan Smrž, whose initials consisting of the letters "JS" are placed at the left edge of the two-hundredth crown at the letter "O" in the name "VIKTOR" between this letter and the hat.
This Decree takes effect on 28 May 2008.
