GOVERNMENT REGULATION
of 24 March 2004
laying down closer conditions for granting and forfeiting guarantees for agricultural products
The Government orders pursuant to § 2b (2) of Act No. 252 / 1997 Coll., on Agriculture, as amended by Act No. 128 / 2003 Coll.:
Subject matter
This Regulation regulates the detailed conditions for granting and forfeiting guarantees for agricultural products, the regulation of which is directly binding by the European Communities (1) (hereinafter referred to as the "Regulation of the European Communities') ordering or allowing the Member States of the European Union to make a separate adjustment at their discretion.
Where a guarantee is used in the rules of the European Communities (1), this means a guarantee for the purposes of this Regulation.
In the case of a guarantee in the form of a cash amount on behalf of the State Agricultural Intervention Fund (hereinafter referred to as "the Fund"), a bank transfer or a postal voucher shall be provided on the date on which the relevant cash amount is credited to the Fund's account.
Failure of the guarantee
In the event of an obligation to pay interest on or part of the forfeited guarantee for a specified period (3), the amount of this interest shall be 0,1% per day.
Efficacy
This Regulation shall enter into force on the date of the entry into force of the Treaty of Accession of the Czech Republic to the European Union.
