Communication from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the access of the Czech Republic to the International Convention for Cooperation in Air Traffic Safety - European Organisation for Air Traffic Safety (EUROCONTROL)

Ministry of Foreign Affairs
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announces that the International Convention for Cooperation in the Security of Air Navigation (EUROCONTROL) was adopted in Brussels on 13 December 1960, supplemented and amended by:
Additional Protocol to the International Convention for the Cooperation in Air Traffic Security (EUROCONTROL), adopted in Brussels on 6 July 1970,
Protocol on amendments to the Additional Protocol to the International Convention for the Cooperation in Air Traffic Security (EUROCONTROL), adopted in Brussels on 21 November 1978,
and
Protocol supplementing the International Convention for the Cooperation in Air Traffic Safety (EUROCONTROL), adopted in Brussels on 12 February 1981.
Both the Convention and the Protocols have been approved by the Parliament of the Czech Republic. The Charter on the Access of the Czech Republic to the International Convention for the Cooperation in Air Traffic Safety (EUROCONTROL), supplemented and amended by the Additional Protocol, the Protocol amending the Additional Protocol and the Protocol supplementing the Convention, including its Annexes, was deposited with the Government of the Kingdom of Belgium, the depositary of the Convention and the Protocols, on 27 November 1995.
The Convention entered into force on 1 March 1963 pursuant to Article 40 (3) thereof.
The Additional Protocol entered into force on 1 August 1972 pursuant to Article 7 (3) thereof.
The Protocol amending the Additional Protocol entered into force pursuant to its Article 3 (3) on 1 January 1981.
The Protocol supplementing the International Convention entered into force in accordance with its Article XL (3) on 1 January 1986.
For the Czech Republic, the International Convention for the Cooperation in Air Traffic Security (EUROCONTROL) of 13 December 1960, supplemented and amended by the Additional Protocol of 6 July 1970 and the Protocols of 21 November 1978 and 12 February 1981, entered into force on 1 January 1996 on the basis of Article 36 (4) of the current Convention.
