DECLARATION
Czech National Banks
of 7 July 1995
on the issue of gold coins for 10 000 CZK
The Czech National Bank provides according to § 22 (a) of the Act of the Czech National Council No. 6 / 1993 Coll., on the Czech National Bank:
(1) On 4 October 1995 gold coins are released for circulation with the theme "Czech Crown" for 10 000 CZK (hereinafter referred to as "10 000 CZK coins").
(2) The coins 10 000 CZK are rolled from gold of purity 999.9. The weight of the coin is 31,107 g, 34 mm diameter and 2.3 mm thickness. The coin edge of 10,000 CZK is serrated. When the coin is embossed 10 000 CZK, the allowed tolerance is up and down on average 0.1 mm, up and down 0.15 mm, up 0.062 g and up 0.01% in gold purity.
(3) The coin can also be embossed in a special design designed for collecting purposes with polished field of coin and matt relief and smooth edge. For the embossing of the coin 10 000 CZK in special design the same purity, diameter, weight and strength of the coin and the same tolerances as for the coin 10 000 CZK in normal design.
(1) On the face of the coin 10 000 CZK is a stylized large state emblem of the Czech Republic, located on the top edge of the coin. At the edges of the coin, the name of the State "CZECH REPUBLIC" is in the unclosed copy. Under the national emblem is the denomination of the coin with the abbreviation "10 000 CZK." Under this sign is placed the year of coin stamping. The brand of the mint, which drove the coin of 10,000 CZK, is placed in the middle below the number of coins.
(2) The Czech lion holding the Prague grosh in the front paws is shown on the back of the coin 10,000 CZK. The outer part of the copy on the Prague Grosh is replaced by the text "Koruna ČESKI:" expressing the coin theme. A large figure "1" indicating the weight of the coin in Troy ounces is placed under the Prague grosses at the left edge of the coin. At the bottom edge of the coin is in one row the weight unit designation, troy ounces, together with the metal coin and its purity "OZ IKAUU IK999.9." The author of the coin design is the academic sculptor Jiří Harcuba. The initials "H" are placed at the bottom of the coin in the middle.
This Decree shall take effect on 15 September 1995.
