DECLARATION
Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs
of 29 December 1970
on the provision of remuneration for major work and life-years
The Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs provides, pursuant to § 43 (1) (b) of Act No. 133 / 1970 Coll., on the jurisdiction of federal ministries, in agreement with the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs of the Czech Socialist Republic and the Slovak Socialist Republic and the Central Council of the Czechoslovak Revolutionary Trade Union Movement:
(1) In recognition and appreciation of the long-standing service for the development of a socialist society, the organisation may provide workers whose employment relationship to the organisation has lasted continuously for at least 5 years with remuneration in the course of the
(a) 25 years of the total period of employment in employment since the first entry into employment;
(b) a life anniversary of 50 years of age;
(c) the first termination of employment after entitlement to an old-age or invalidity pension.
(2) The remuneration may be granted to the worker only in the year for which the relevant working or life anniversary occurred.
(3) Pending the continuous duration of the employment relationship with the organisation (paragraph 1), the duration of employment in another organisation whose rights and obligations under labour law have been transferred to the acquiring organisation pursuant to § 249 to 251 of the Labour Code.
(1) Remuneration may be granted to workers by fixed amounts up to the amount of CZK 2500.
(2) Further conditions for the provision of remuneration are laid down and the level of remuneration determined by the management organisation in a differentiated manner according to the degree of merit of the workers and the duration of their employment relationship with the organisation.
The management of the organisation shall act in accordance with the rules governing the status and competence of the trade unions when providing remuneration.
Paragraph 4 of Decree No. 201 / 1968 Coll., on the provision of remuneration to staff of budgetary organisations is hereby repealed.
This Decree shall take effect on 1 January 1971.
