GOVERNMENT REGULATION
of 8 July 1964
on the award of honorary titles "deserving member of the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra" and "deserving member of the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra"
The Government of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic orders pursuant to § 9 (4) of Act No. 62 / 1962 Coll., on Honours and Honours:
(1) For the award of excellent artists of the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra, who have earned its high level and thus contributed extremely to the fulfilment of the mission of the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra to serve the working people, socialist social establishment and socialist art, an honorary title "worthy member of the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra" is introduced.
(2) The honorary title of the "deserving member of the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra" is awarded to outstanding artists of the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra, who have been active for at least 10 years and who have consistently achieved such results as to set an example for other artists of the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra and other musical bodies.
(1) For the award of excellent operating and organizational staff of the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra, the honorary title "worthy worker of the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra" is introduced.
(2) The Honorary title "Worker of the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra" is awarded to excellent operating and organizational staff of the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra, who have been working there for at least 10 years, consistently by becoming an example of other operating and organizational staff of the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra and other musical bodies.
(1) Honorary titles are awarded by the Minister of Education and Culture.
(2) At the same time as the award of the honorary degrees referred to in paragraph 1, the Charter (diploma) concerning the award of the honorary degree is submitted.
This Regulation shall enter into force on the day of its publication.
