amending Act No. 561 / 2004 Coll., on Pre-School, Basic, Medium, Higher Vocational and Other Education (Education Act), as amended by Act No. 383 / 2005 Coll.
Parliament has decided on this law of the Czech Republic:
Amendment of the Education Act
Act No. 561 / 2004 Coll., on pre-school, primary, secondary, higher vocational and other education (Education Act), as amended by Act No. 383 / 2005 Coll., is amended as follows:
Paragraph 55 (2) reads as follows:
"(2) In exceptional cases, the school director may allow pupils with disabilities to continue their primary education until the end of the school year in which the pupil reaches the twenty-sixth year of age, in the case of pupils who are trained in accordance with the second sentence of paragraph 16 (8), and in the case of pupils who are under the second sentence of paragraph 48, with the consent of the founder until the twenty-sixth year of age. In those cases, as regards preparation for the occupation or work, the school director shall cooperate with the competent employment office. ';
EFFECTIVE
This Act shall take effect on 1 July 2006.
