DECLARATION
Czech National Banks
of 7 July 1995
on the issue of gold coins for 5000 CZK
The Czech National Bank provides according to § 22 (a) of the Act of the Czech National Council No. 6 / 1993 Coll., on the Czech National Bank:
(1) On 4 October 1995 gold coins are released for circulation with the theme "Czech Crown" for 5000 CZK (hereinafter referred to as "coins 5000 CZK").
(2) The coins 5000 CZK are rolled from gold of purity 999.9. The weight of the coin is 15.553 g, 28 mm diameter and 1.75 mm thickness. The coin edge of 5000 CZK is serrated. When the coin is embossed 5000 CZK, the allowed tolerance is up and down on average 0.2 mm, up and down 0.15 mm, up 0.047 g in weight and up 0.01% in gold purity.
(3) Coins 5000 CZK can also be embossed in a special design designed for collecting purposes with a polished field of coin and matt relief and smooth edge. For the embossing of the coin 5000 CZK in a special design the same purity, diameter, weight and strength of the coin and the same tolerances as for the coin 5000 CZK in normal design.
(1) The face of the coin 5000 CZK is painted in the form of a medieval coin embossed in the sheet shape of a diamond, so called clips (hereinafter referred to as "clip"). There's a Czech lion in the middle. The name of the state "CZECH REPUBLIC" is on the outer ring, bounded by the line and the pearl, from the outside by the pearl, at the top of the unclosed copy. At the bottom of the ring, there is a numerical expression of the nominal value of the coin, the latter is the word 5000. Between the name of the state and the denomination of the coin is a small square decor. The abbreviation of the money unit "CZK" is located in the bottom corner of the clip. In the top corner of the clip there is a year of coin stamping. The brand of the mint that drove 5000 CZK is placed between the back legs of the lion.
(2) On the back of the coin is the theme of the reverse side of the small grosh in the form of a clip from 1587. The chain articles of the Order of the Golden Fleece around the initials "R" with a crown are replaced in the depiction of a small grosh by the decorative inscription "CORUNA CZECH" expressing the theme of the coin. The upper corner of the clip includes the designation of the metal coin and its purity "Au 999.9 ', in the lower corner of the clip is the designation of the pure weight of the coin in Troy ounces with the designation of the mass unit" 1 / 2 Oz'. The author of the coin design is the academic sculptor Vladimir Oppl. The initials of his name "VO" are placed in the lower year of clips under the indication of the pure weight of the coin.
This Decree shall take effect on 15 September 1995.
