Cable v. r.
Description of 50 kroner dated 29 August 1950.
The 50 koruna is printed on white lead paper of a special composition without watermark. Fine red and blue fibers are blown into the paper mass at the left extended edge on the face of the tender. The 50 crown is 65 mm wide and 140 mm long.
The printing patterns on the face and on the reverse of the tender occupy almost the entire area of the paper except the white edge, which is extended to the cheek on the left, on the reverse on the right.
On the face of fifty crowns, the main print pattern printed in brown black is limited by the top by a dark tape with the inscription
"REPUBLIC OF CZECHOSPACE"
and at the bottom it is bounded by a wider band of white mesh of guilloche wool, in which two adjacent parallel waves are always brought together and form double lines with an exact cross between the two wave directions. On the right is a large picture occupying the entire height of the tender print pattern: a Slovak miner displayed on the chest, carrying on the right shoulder of the jackhammer; There's a mine lamp hanging on his left shoulder. The head of the miner covered with the hat is almost facing the audience. In the background of the figure there is a heavy tower and the buildings of the Handlovsky mines.
On the left of the miner image is text in the printing pattern space
"PÁTDESIAT
KORON

In the background of the text there is a fine two-colour pattern, made by the exact conicity of black drawing of tiny scales and brown yellow drawing of wave loops which fit exactly into individual scales.
On the left, on the extended edge, there is a four-flared guilloche of white wavy with a large white figure of "50." Above the rose there is another large grey figure "50," placed with lounges and filled with rows of small figures "50," separated by a fine double line. The centre of this reclining digit "50 'shall be marked in a large letter with a two-digit number in the colour of brown yellow and a six-digit number in the colour of vermilion red.
The names of the artist and engraver of the miner's image are given in small capitals at the bottom of the white edge: the left.
On the back of 50 crowns is the main printing color dark green. The centre of the print pattern occupies, throughout its length, a decorative compose of guilloche roses mainly white and only partly dark: a large central rose bearing a large bright figure "50" in the middle, finely horizontally drawn. In the background of this figure, the centre area of the Brussels rose is filled with several rows of small white inscriptions "PÄTDESIAT KORON OF CZECHOVSKY." On both sides of the large central rose stands out parts of two other roses of similar shape and size.
At the edge of the print pattern there is a dark tape with a light inscription
THE REPUBLIC OF CZECH REPUBLIC,
lower then wider belt with inscription
"PÄTZDESIAT KORON
THE CZECH REPUBLIC '.
The area of the belt in the background of the inscription shall carry a rhombus grid of fine white lines. Along the left and right sides of the main print pattern is a small green font inscription "PÄTDESIAT KORON OF CZECHOVSKY" which is always repeated twice.
The widened white edge on the right carries a longitudinal dark-walled, six-point brown rose with a large white figure "50" lying flat.
Down on the white edge of the reverse in the middle is a small company sign.
