DECLARATION
of 10 May 2012
on the publication of the National Natural Monuments of Mednice and the establishment of its closer protection conditions
The Ministry of the Environment provides pursuant to § 79 (4) (h) of Act No. 114 / 1992 Coll., on the Conservation of Nature and Landscape, as amended by Act No. 218 / 2004 Coll., Act No. 312 / 2008 Coll. and Act No. 349 / 2009 Coll.:
§ 1
Definition of national natural heritage
(1) The National Natural Monument of Medník ("the National Natural Monument") is announced.
(2) The national natural monument is situated in the territory of the Central Bohemian Region, in the cadastral territory of Hradištko pod Medník. The boundaries of the national natural monument shall be determined by a closed geometric pattern with direct sides whose vertices are determined by coordinates of the uniform trigonometric network of the cadastral1). The list of coordinates of the vertices of the geometric pattern as they follow in the pattern is given in Annex 1 to this decree.
(3) An indicative graphical representation of the territory of the national natural heritage and its protection zone is given in Annex 2 to this Decree.
§ 2
Subject matter of protection
National natural monuments are protected by:
(a) natural forest crops consisting of the communities of the duobystras, flowery beech, rubble forests and forest hem communities and the cleft vegetation of silicate rocks and drolines;
(b) the population of the critically endangered species of the canary of the dog tooth (Erythorium dens- canis), including its biotope.
§ 3
Closer protection conditions
Only with the consent of the competent nature conservation authority can the national natural monument:
(a) to permit changes in the types of land or methods of exploitation (2);
(b) carry out geological work linked to the intervention into the territory;
(c) use chemical agents; or
(d) adjust the surface of the road using other than local natural material of the same geological origin.
§ 4
Efficacy
This Decree shall take effect on 1 July 2012.
