on the issue of gold coins for 1000 CZK
The Czech National Bank provides according to § 22 (a) of the Act of the Czech National Council No. 6 / 1993 Coll., on the Czech National Bank:
§ 1
(1) On 4 October 1995 gold coins are released for circulation with the theme "Czech Crown" for 1000 CZK (hereinafter called "1000 CZK coins").
(2) Coins 1000 CZK are rolled of gold of purity 999.9. The weight of the coin 1000 CZK is 3.111 g, its diameter is 16 mm and its strength is 1.1 mm. The edge of the coin 1000 CZK is serrated. When the coin is embossed 1000 CZK, the allowed tolerance is up and down on average 0.2 mm, up and down 0.15 mm, up 0.031 g in weight and up 0.01% in gold purity.
(3) Coins 1000 CZK can also be embossed in a special design designed for collecting purposes with a polished field of coin and matt relief and smooth edge. For the embossing of the coin 1000 CZK in special design the same purity, diameter, weight and strength of the coin and the same tolerances as for the coin 1000 CZK in normal design.
§ 2
(1) There is a Silesian eagle in the middle of the face of the coin 1000 CZK. The name of the state "CZECH REPUBLIC" is in an unclosed copy on the outer circle of the ring bounded by the line and the pearl. Under the Silesian Eagle, the boundary of the intercircle is interrupted by the denomination of the coin with the abbreviation of the monetary unit in two rows "1000 CZK." The number of coins is divided under the wings of the Silesian eagle so that the first two digits of the year are left and the second two digits of the right. The brand of the mint, which drove the coin 1000 CZK, is located lower right between the claws of the eagle and the boundary of the ring.
(2) On the reverse of the coin 1000 CZK is the middle of the theme of the reverse side of the three-ducat of the Silesian states from 1621 with the four-row inscription "MONeta AVREA SILESIAE 12 1 / 2 TALE." Below it is one row indicating the pure weight of the coin in Troy ounces with the weight unit designation "1 / 10 Oz" and the metal coin and its purity "Au 999.9." On the outer circle, within the bounded line and the pearl, the text "KORUNA ČESKI 'is in the upper part of the unclosed copy, expressing the coin theme. At the bottom of the ring there is a small plant decoration with squares on both edges. The author of the coin design is the academic sculptor Vladimir Oppl. The initials of his name" VO "are placed at the bottom of the coin in the middle of the plant motif.
§ 3
This Decree shall take effect on 15 September 1995.
