increasing State aid for old-age enterprises.
The Provisional National Assembly of the Czechoslovak Republic decided on the following Act:
Čl. I.
The Act of 21 March 1929, No 43 Coll., on State aid for old-age enterprises, is amended as follows:
1.
§ 3.
(1) Old-age aid amounts to 6.000 CZK per year per person.
(2) Where aid is granted to two applicants living in the common household, it is reduced to 3,500 CZK per year for each of them. However, if one of the applicants is so helpless that he still needs help, treatment and service of another person, he will receive 6.000 CZK; if they are both powerless, each of them will receive 6.000 CZK.
(3) Any measure received by the applicant, whether in cash or in kind, where it is based on a legal title, with the exception of a public poor measure, is to be counted against the old-age aid.
2.
(1) In respect of the State aid, the municipality will provide the beneficiary's residence with a supplement to the amount of CZK 1,200 for the 700 KKS case, as graduated as follows:
1. municipality, having more than 50,000 inhabitants - surcharge 20%,
2. a municipality with more than 2,000 inhabitants but not more than 50,000 inhabitants - 15% surcharge,
3. municipality, with a maximum population of 2,000 inhabitants - 10% surcharge.
Čl. II.
This Act takes effect on 1 December 1945 and applies in the Czech and Moravian-Silesian countries; It shall be implemented by the Minister for Labour and Social Welfare in agreement with the Ministers involved.
