DECLARATION
of 5 May 2017
on the issue of commemorative silver two hundred crowns for the 100th anniversary of the birth of Josef Kainar
The Czech National Bank provides pursuant to § 22 (a) of Act No. 6 / 1993 Coll., on the Czech National Bank, as amended by Act No. 442 / 2000 Coll.:
(1) On 14 June 2017, the 100th anniversary of the birth of Josef Kainar is issued with a commemorative silver coin of 200 CZK (hereinafter referred to as the "two hundred crowns").
(2) Two hundred koruna is issued in the normal version and in a special version with polished field of coin and matte relief (hereinafter "special version").
(3) The two-hundred korona in normal and special design is rolled from an alloy containing 925 parts of silver and 75 parts of copper. The weight of two hundred crowns is 13 g, its diameter is 31 mm and its strength is 2,25 mm. In the case of an embossing of two hundred crowns in normal and special design, the tolerance shall be 0,1 mm in diameter and 0,15 mm in thickness. In mass, the tolerance shall be up to 0,26 g and in the silver content shall be up to 1%. The edge of two hundred crowns in normal design is serrated, the edge of two hundred crowns in special design is smooth with the feature "CZECH NATIONAL BANKA * Ag 0.925 * 13 g *."
(1) On the front side of the two-hundredth crown, an open book is displayed at the bottom, over which the four lines of the wavy text "SCREECHED BY THE LITTLE BOY OF THE KADER FADELS TO THE COUNTRY AND DIED." The denomination of the coin with the abbreviation "200 CZK" and the name of the state "CZECH REPUBLIC" is placed in the top half of the coin. The coin field above the book is further filled with floating plastic elements that complete the overall artistic composition of the coin. The brand of the Czech Mint is placed at the bottom of the coin.
(2) On the reverse side of the two hundred crown is a portrait of Josef Kainar. At the top edge of the coin are the periods "1917 - 2017" under which the text "JOSEF KAINAR" is located. The author's initiative of Vojtěv Dostál, DiS., which is composed of the inverted letter "D," is located at the bottom right edge of the two-hundred crown.
(3) The picture of the two hundred crown is given in the annex to this decree.
This Decision shall enter into force on 14 June 2017.
