THE LAW
of 14 March 2002
on the transitional financing of certain social health benefits for miners
Parliament has decided on this law of the Czech Republic:
§ 1
(1) This Act provides for financing
(a) a special contribution to miners who have been entitled to it by 31.12.1992;
(b) deputate coal and wood for which entitlement was established by 16.1.1992; and
(c) compensation for loss of earnings to which entitlement is due until 31.12.1992;
(1) legal persons - coal, uranium and ore mining organisations (hereinafter referred to as social health benefits for miners).
(2) The payments of social health benefits of miners shall be paid by grants from the state budget under special legislation. 2) The legal persons referred to in paragraph 1 shall be entitled to receive this subsidy.
§ 2
Efficacy
This Act shall take effect on the day of its publication.

Act No. 98 / 1987 Coll., on the special contribution of miners, as amended by Act No. 160 / 1989 Coll. § 23 of Act No. 1 / 1992 Coll., on wages, remuneration for on-call and on average earnings. § 195 of Act No. 65 / 1965 Coll., Labour Code.
2) Sections 7 (1) (d) and 14 and other Act No. 218 / 2000 Coll., on budgetary rules and amending certain related laws (budgetary rules), as amended by Act No. 197 / 2001 Coll.
