amending and supplementing the law on the regulation of the holiday law.
The National Assembly of the Czechoslovak Republic decided on the following Act:
Čl. I.
The Act of 20 December 1946, No 248 Coll., on the adaptation of the holiday law, as amended by the Act of 7 April 1948, No 78 Coll., is amended as follows:
1. In Article 3, the following paragraph 5 is inserted after paragraph 4:
"(5) If the economic interests of the State so require, the Government may, at the time referred to in paragraph 3, first sentence, determine by a resolution for a given year that the Sunday clause does not apply to a State-recognised holiday or memorial day not covered by paragraph 3. For such a holiday (a memorial day), the government shall also determine a replacement day, for which the provisions on public holidays and memorial days apply. '
2. Paragraph 3 (5) becomes paragraph 6.

"The provisions of Sections 4 to 6 shall not apply to days for which, under the provisions of Sections 3, 3, first sentence or under the Government's resolution made within the meaning of Sections 3, 5, first sentence, the provisions on Sundays do not apply. '
Čl. II.
The Minister of the Interior is hereby authorised to declare in the Collection of Laws the full text of Act No. 248 / 1946 Coll., as is apparent from the regulations amending it and supplementing it.
Čl. III.
This Act shall take effect on the day of its publication; It shall be implemented by the Ministers of Interior and Labour and Social Welfare in agreement with the participating members of the Government.
