of 6 June 2007
amending Act No. 589 / 1992 Coll., on Social Security Insurance and Contribution to State Employment Policy, as amended, and Act No. 189 / 2006 Coll., amending certain laws in connection with the adoption of the Law on sickness insurance, as amended by Act No. 585 / 2006 Coll.
Parliament has decided on this law of the Czech Republic:
Amendment of the Social Security Insurance Act and contribution to the State Employment Policy

1. in § 3 (1) (c) of the final part of the provision, the words "under § 5 (1) (a) and (2)" shall be replaced by the words "under § 5 (1) to (4)."
2. in Article 3 (1) (b), the text of the final part of the provision shall be deleted;
3. In Article 5, the following paragraph 6 is added:
"(6) The assessment basis of the organisation and the small organisation shall be the amount corresponding to the sum of the assessment bases of their staff. ';
4. Paragraph 5 (6) is deleted.
5. In the first sentence of Article 21 (2), "[Paragraph 5 (1) (b)] 'is replaced by" (Paragraph 5 (6))'.
6. In Article 21 (2), "(§ 5 (6)) 'is replaced by" (§ 5a)' and "organisation or small organisation 'is replaced by" employer'.
Amendment of the law amending certain laws in connection with the adoption of the sickness insurance law
In Article XXI of Act No. 189 / 2006 Coll., amending certain laws in connection with the adoption of the Act on sickness insurance, as amended by Act No. 585 / 2006 Coll., points 8 and 79 are deleted.
REPEAL PROVISIONS
Government Decree No. 39 / 2007 Coll., on how to determine the employer's assessment base for social security contributions and contributions to state employment policy, is repealed.
EFFECTIVE
This Law shall enter into force on the first day of the calendar month following its publication, with the exception of the provisions of Part One, paragraph 1, of Article 5, of the Agreement. I points 2, 4 and 6, which take effect from the date of entry into force of Act No. 187 / 2006 Coll., on sickness insurance, as amended by Act No. 585 / 2006 Coll.
