GOVERNMENT REGULATION
of 2 May 1996
determining the level of remuneration for higher education in higher vocational schools established by the State and the method of payment thereof
The Government orders pursuant to § 4 (2) of Act No. 29 / 1984 Coll., on the System of Primary Schools, Secondary Schools and Higher Vocational Schools (Education Act), as amended by Act No. 138 / 1995 Coll.:
§ 1
Education for remuneration
Education in higher vocational schools established by the State (hereinafter referred to as "school ') 1 shall be granted for consideration (hereinafter referred to as" tuition fees'), unless otherwise specified.
§ 2
Training fees
(1) The amount of tuition fees per school year is:
obory umělecko-průmyslové5000 Kč
obory zemědělské, lesnické a hotelové4000 Kč
obory knihovnické, zdravotnické a sociálně právní2500 Kč
obory ostatní3000 Kč.
(2) The tuition fee shall be 50% of the amount referred to in paragraph 1 above if the pupil has achieved an average benefit of up to 1,50 during the previous school year or if, after payment of the tuition, the sum of the income of the household members in which the student lives falls below 1,5 times the amount needed to ensure nutrition and other basic personal needs2) and the necessary costs for the household (3), or if, according to the expert opinion, the pupil is severely disabled.
§ 3
Method of payment of tuition fees
The student pays tuition by direct payment
(a) in two instalments no later than 15 September for the period September - January and no later than 15 February for the period February - August;
(b) on acceptance during the school year, by a proportion of the period concerned, not later than 15 days after the date on which the decision to adopt the decision became final.
§ 4
Final provision
The regulation does not apply to higher police and fire protection schools established by the Ministry of the Interior and to military higher professional schools established by the Ministry of Defence.
§ 5
Efficacy
This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 September 1996.
