amending and supplementing Decree No. 1 / 1972 of the Government of the Czech Socialist Republic on public order inspections of national committees
The Government of the Czech Socialist Republic prescribes pursuant to § 6 paragraph 5 of Act No. 69 / 1967 Coll., on National Committees, as amended by the Act No. 146 / 1971 Coll., amending and supplementing the Act on National Committees and regulating the competence of national committees in certain sections of the State Administration, and the Act of the Czech National Council No. 137 / 1982 Coll., amending and supplementing the Act on National Committees and adjusting the scope of the Municipal National Committees in certain sections of the State Administration (hereinafter referred to as the Act):
The Decree of the Government of the Czech Socialist Republic No. 1 / 1972 Coll., on public order inspections of national committees, is amended as follows:

"The National Committee of the City of Prague, the National Committee of the City of Brno, the National Committee of the City of Ostrava, the National Committee of the City of Pilsen and the City of National Committees of the First and Second Categories (Sections 10 (3) and (4) of the Act), as well as the Municipal National Committees of the Municipality of Brno, the National Committee of the City of Ostrava, the National Committee of the City of Ostrava, may be set up to ensure local public order matters within its responsibility for the inspection of public order of the National Committee (" inspections'). Other municipal national committees, as well as local national committees, may do so only with the agreement of the Regional National Committee after the observations of the District National Committee. ';
2.V § 3
the following paragraph 4 is inserted after paragraph 3:
"(4) The National Committee may establish uniform and rank for inspection staff according to uniform principles established by the Ministry of Interior. ';
paragraph 4 shall be renumbered paragraph 5 and the following sentence shall be added at the end: "The sleeve tape of the inspection need not be externally marked by inspection personnel wearing the uniform. ';
paragraph 5 is deleted.
3.
the introductory phrase is replaced by the following:
"The inspection staff shall have the following privileges in the performance of their tasks: ';
the provisions of point (c) are as follows:
"(c) to invite a citizen who has violated public policy to prove his identity and if he does not prove it in a credible manner and the matter cannot be handled on the spot in a block procedure, to bring him to the National Committee or, where appropriate, to the Department of National Security.";
the words "under the authority of the District National Committee 'shall be deleted from the provisions of point (e).
This Government Regulation shall enter into force on 1 January 1983.
