DECLARATION
of 11 June 2019
on the issue of commemorative silver two hundred crowns for the 600th anniversary of Prague's first defenestration
The Czech National Bank provides pursuant to § 22 paragraph 1 (a) of Act No. 6 / 1993 Coll., on the Czech National Bank, as amended by Act No. 442 / 2000 Coll. and Act No. 89 / 2018 Coll.:
(1) On 24 July 2019, a commemorative silver coin of CZK 200 (hereinafter referred to as the "two hundred crowns") is issued for the 600th anniversary of Prague's first defenestration.
(2) Two hundred koruna is issued in the normal version and in a special version with polished field of coin and matte relief (hereinafter "special version").
(3) Two hundred koruna is rolled from an alloy containing 925 parts of silver and 75 parts of copper. The weight of the 2-hundredth crown is 13 g, its diameter 31 mm and the force 2,3 mm. In the case of an embossing of two hundred crowns, the tolerance in the silver content shall be up to 1%, the difference in weight up to 0,26 g, the tolerance in diameter 0,1 mm and the tolerance in thickness 0,15 mm. The edge of two hundred crowns in normal design is serrated, the edge of two hundred crowns in special design is smooth with the feature "CZECH NATIONAL BANKA * Ag 0.925 * 13 g *."
(1) On the front of the two-hundred crown is represented a rising crowd of people from the church of Our Lady of Snow in Prague. On the left of the church roof is the text "30. 7." and on the right is the text "1419." The name of the state "CZECH REPUBLIC" and denomination designation with the abbreviation of the money unit "200 CZK" are placed on the perimeter of the coin. The brand of the Czech Mint consisting of the letters "No" and "M" is placed behind the abbreviation of the money unit. The name of the state is separated by dots from the denomination with the abbreviation of the money unit and the Czech Mint brand.
(2) On the reverse side of the two hundred crown is captured the very act of defenestration. The text "FIRST PRAGUE DEFENESTRATION" and the years "1419 - 2019" is placed in the outer circle of the coin. Text and years are separated by dots. The initials of the coin author, the academic sculptor Majka Wichner, which are made up of compositions of letters "M" and "W" are placed under the lower left window.
(3) The picture of the two hundred crown is given in the annex to this decree.
This Regulation shall enter into force on 24 July 2019.
