Decree of the Minister of Finance
of 25 August 1947
on embossing and issuing of silver fifty crowns in memory of the Slovak national uprising.
According to Section 3 of the Order of the President of the Republic of 19 October 1945, No 91 Coll., on the renewal of the Czechoslovak currency, I shall determine:
(1) The memory of the Slovak national uprising is 1,000,000 pieces of commemorative silver fifty crowns.
(2) The commemorative fifty crowns are derived from a mixture of 500 pieces of silver, 400 parts of copper, 50 parts of nickel and 50 parts of zinc. The gross weight of the commemorative 50 crowns is 10 g. During stamping, the deviation up and down is permitted in gross weight 10 / 1000 and in silver purity 5 / 1000. The diameter of the coin is 28 mm.
(3) On the face of fifty crowns is the state emblem of the Czechoslovak Republic and under it the inscription "REPUBLIC OF CZECHOSLOVENSKI" in two rows. Down to the right of the state sign is the brand of the original "O.Š."
(4) On the back of the 50 crown, there is an upright figure of the female warrior in the mascara, symbolizing the Slovak national uprising. With his left hand, he holds a rifle, carrying a six-leaf lip branch in his right hand. In the upper left side, the coin value designation is "50 '. In the lunar area on the right at the edge of the coin, the dates of the three-year Slovak national uprising are" 1944 * 29.8. * 1947. "Under the right hand of the woman is the mark of the original" P. "
(5) The edge of the coin is smooth and embossed with six-pointed stars and simple waves; On both sides of the coin is a flat frame.
The National Bank of Czechoslovakia will begin to issue silver memoirs with the main institute in Prague, with the Regional Institute for Slovakia in Bratislava and with all its filials on 28 August 1947.
This decree shall take effect on the day of its publication.
