of 29 March 2006
on the issue of gold coins "The National Cultural Monument of the Paperwork of Great Losiny" for CZK 2,500
The Czech National Bank provides for the Czech National Bank in accordance with § 22 (a) of Act No. 6 / 1993 Coll., on the Czech National Bank:
§ 1
(1) On 10 May 2006, Gold Coins "The National Cultural Monument of the Paperwork of the Great Losina" are issued for CZK 2,500 (hereinafter referred to as "Coins."). The coin is shown in the annex to this decree.
(2) Coins are issued in the ordinary version and in a special version intended for collector's purposes with a polished field of coins and matt relief (hereinafter referred to as the special version).
(3) Coins in normal and special design are made of gold of purity 999.9. The weight of the coin is 7.78 g, its diameter is 22 mm and its strength is 1.45 mm. The coin edge in the normal version is serrated, the coin edge in the special version is smooth. When the coin is embossed in both normal and special versions, the tolerance is 0,1 mm in diameter and 0,15 mm in thickness. In weight, the tolerance allowed up to 0,062 g and in gold purity the tolerance up to 0,01%.
§ 2
(1) On the front side of the coin is the composition of heraldic animals from the great state emblem of the Czech Republic. In the middle there is a large Czech lion in contemporary painting, on the right Moravian and on the left Silesian eagle in contemporary form, depicted in negative relief and placed on square shields. Under heraldic animals, the name of the state is "CZECH REPUBLIC" in two rows. Both the heraldic animals and the name of the state extend from the centre of the coin to the ring separated by a pearl. There is a non-closed copy on the ring entitled "CULTURAL MEMORIES OF TECHNICAL GRANDFATHER." At the bottom edge of the coin, there is a "CZK 2500" in the line of the coin denomination designation. The coin tag that struck the coin is placed in the middle of the coin under the Moravian eagle.
(2) On the reverse side of the coin there is a sculpture transcription of the period engraving of the Renaissance handmade paper factory in its middle. On the top left is a picture of the building of the Great Losina paper factory, on the right bottom is a transcript of a cross-section with a Žerotín lion used on hand paper from this paper factory. All images extend from the centre of the coin to the intercircle separated by a pearl. On the outer ring at the left, upper and right edges of the coin there is an unclosed copy of "PAPER IN GREAT LOSINAS," at the lower edge of the coin also in the copy the year "2006" enclosed on both sides by a small plant decoration. The author of the graphic design of the coin is Luboš Charvát, whose initials, stylized interconnected letters "LCH" are located at the lower left edge of the coin left of the plant decoration.
§ 3
This Decree shall take effect on 1 May 2006.
