Slovak National Council
of 28 December 1970
on changes in the system of ministries and other central government bodies of the Slovak Socialist Republic
The Slovak National Council decided on this law:
It shall be repealed:
Ministry of Planning of the Slovak Socialist Republic,
Ministry of Transport, Posts and Telecommunications of the Slovak Socialist Republic, and
Supreme Audit Office of the Slovak Socialist Republic.
Act of the Slovak National Council No. 207 / 1968 Coll., on the establishment of ministries and other central bodies of the Slovak Socialist Republic, is amended as follows:
1. The Ministry of Planning and the Ministry of Transport, Posts and Telecommunications are deleted from the list of the Slovak Socialist Republic ministries in Section 1 (1).
2. Paragraph 1 is replaced by the following:
(1) A Slovak Planning Commission is hereby established as the central body of the Government of the Slovak Socialist Republic for national economic planning and development of the system of planned management of the national economy.
(2) The Slovak Planning Commission consists of the Chairman of the Slovak Planning Commission, the Vice-President of the Slovak Socialist Republic, the Vice-President of the Slovak Planning Commission and other members. The President of the Slovak Planning Commission shall be appointed and removed by the Bureau of the Slovak National Council. The Vice-President and other members shall be appointed and dismissed by the Government of the Socialist Republic of Slovakia.
(3) The work of the Slovak Planning Commission and its apparatus is managed by the Chairman of the Slovak Planning Commission. It is represented by the Vice-President of the Slovak Planning Commission.
(4) The rights and obligations of the former Ministry of Planning of the Slovak Socialist Republic, in particular from employment relations, are transferred to the Slovak Planning Commission.
(1) The Committee of People's Control of the Slovak Socialist Republic is hereby established as the central authority of the Slovak Socialist Republic on the control section.
(2) The Chairman of the Committee of People's Control of the Slovak Socialist Republic is a member of the Government of the Slovak Socialist Republic. The Committee of People's Control of the Slovak Socialist Republic consists of the President and 8 to 12 members appointed and dismissed by the Government of the Slovak Socialist Republic.
(3) The work of the Committee of People's Control of the Slovak Socialist Republic and its apparatus is managed by the Chairman of the Committee of People's Control of the Slovak Socialist Republic. Deputy Chairman of the Committee of People's Control of the Slovak Socialist Republic.
(4) The provisions of Act No. 70 / 1967 Coll., on the Works of the People's Control Committee of the Slovak Socialist Republic, as amended by Act No. 85 / 1968 Coll., apply mutatis mutandis to the activities of the Committee of People's Control of the Slovak Socialist Republic and to the rights and obligations of its staff until the new legislation.
(5) The People's Control Committee of the Slovak Socialist Republic shall be responsible for reviewing decisions of the National Committees' People's Audit Committees issued by the date of application of this Act in administrative proceedings.
(6) The rights and obligations of the former Supreme Audit Office of the Slovak Socialist Republic, in particular from employment relations, are transferred to the Committee of People's Inspections of the Slovak Socialist Republic. '
(2) The rights and obligations of the employment relations of the former Ministry of Transport, Posts and Telecommunications of the Slovak Socialist Republic are transferred to the authorities or organisations designated by the Government of the Slovak Socialist Republic, as appropriate.
(1) It shall be repealed:
(a) Act of the Slovak National Council No. 70 / 1969 Coll., on the Supreme Audit Office of the Slovak Socialist Republic,
(b) Decree of the Government of the Slovak Socialist Republic No 48 / 1970 Coll., on the establishment of a body of state administration responsible for examining decisions of the People's Audit Committees of the National Committees on the imposition of order and reprimand fines,
c) § 7 (ch) of the Slovak National Council Act No. 204 / 1968 Coll., on Rules of Procedure of the Slovak National Council.
(2) In Paragraph 60 (1) of Act No. 69 / 1967 Coll., on National Committees, the words "Central Commission of People's Control" are replaced by the words "Committee of People's Control of the Slovak Socialist Republic."
This Act shall take effect on 1 January 1971.
