DECLARATION
of 17 January 2018
on the issue of the commemorative silver two hundred crowns for the 500th anniversary of the release of the Klaudyan map
The Czech National Bank provides pursuant to § 22 (a) of Act No. 6 / 1993 Coll., on the Czech National Bank, as amended by Act No. 442 / 2000 Coll.:
(1) On 28 February 2018, a commemorative silver coin of CZK 200 ("two hundred crowns") is issued for the 500th anniversary of the issue of the Klaudyan map.
(2) Two hundred koruna is issued in the normal version and in a special version with polished field of coin and matte relief (hereinafter "special version").
(3) The two-hundred korona in normal and special design is rolled from an alloy containing 925 parts of silver and 75 parts of copper. The weight of the two-hundredth crown is 13 g, its diameter 31 mm and its strength 2,2 mm. In the case of an embossing of two hundred crowns in normal and special design, the tolerance shall be 0,1 mm in diameter and 0,15 mm in thickness. In mass, the tolerance shall be up to 0,26 g and in the silver content shall be up to 1%. The edge of two hundred crowns in normal design is serrated, the edge of two hundred crowns in special design is smooth with the feature "CZECH NATIONAL BANKA * Ag 0.925 * 13 g *."
(1) On the front side of the 200 crown, there is a theme from the Klaudyan map, which is an allegorical car with passengers drawn by two teams on opposite sides. In the lower part of the coin field are located the characters of the Hungarian Kingdom and the Czech Kingdom, in whose cover are the left characters of Rožmberks and Slavats and the right characters of Šternberk and Švihovský from Rýzmberk. At the top of the coin in the unclosed copy, the name of the state is "CZECH REPUBLIC." The denomination of the coin with the abbreviation "200 CZK" is located at the bottom edge of the coin. The brand of the Czech Mint consisting of the letters "No" and "M" is placed at the left edge of the two hundred crown.
(2) The map part of the Klaudyan map is shown on the back of the two hundred crown. At the top of the coin in the unclosed copy, the text is "KlauDYAN MAPA." Under this text, "1518 'and" 2018' are in two rows. The initials of the author of the coin, the academic sculptor Zbynek Fojt, which are made up of compositions of letters "F" and "Z" are located at the left edge of the two hundred crowns.
(3) The picture of the two hundred crown is given in the annex to this decree.
This Decision shall enter into force on 28 February 2018.
