establishing the honorary title of "Aeroplane-cosmonaut CSSR"
The Bureau of the Federal Assembly of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic has acted in accordance with Article 58 (3) of Constitutional Law No. 143 / 1968 Coll., on the Czechoslovak Federation, on the following legal measure:
The honorary title "Aeroplane-Cosmonaut CSSR ', which is associated with the right to wear the" Aeroplane-Cosmonaut CSSR' badge, is hereby established to evaluate the successful management of tasks in space flight.
The Honorary title "Aerospace Cosmonaut of CSSR" is given to individuals for successful performance of tasks in space flight.
(1) The honorary title "Aeronautical-cosmonaut CSSR" is given by the President of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic to Czechoslovak citizens and members of other states.
(2) At the same time as the award of the honorary title, the charter on the lease and the "Aeroplane-Cosmonaut of the CSSR" badge are handed over.
(1) The "Air-Cosmonaut of the CSSR" is an expression of friendship and alliance with the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, expressed by cooperation in the penetration of space.
The badge consists of a stylized globe laid on a white base, surrounded by a rocket heading towards other planets represented by two four-pointed stars. Above the globe is the inscription "LETTER-KOSMONAUT ČSSR" in two rows above the coloured Czechoslovak state emblem. The badge is supported by a stylized wreath from the lime branch to the right and laurel left in the form of a polygon. The rocket has a red sign "CCCP" and a faceted five-pointed star from a Czech grenade. The wreath, the rocket, the two-line inscription, the meridian and the parallel on the globe are gold-plated silver; The right half of the globe is light blue, the left half is dark blue.
(2) The badge "Aeroplane-cosmonaut CSSR" is worn on the right side of the breast behind the silver star Order on February 25, 1948.
The Office of the President of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic manages the items of the honorary title "Aerospace ČSSR."
This legal measure shall take effect on the date of its publication.
