THE LAW
of 31 January 1964
on the national economic development plan and the state budget for 1964
The National Assembly of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic decided on this law:
Tasks of the State Plan
(1) The main tasks of the State Plan for the Development of the National Economy for 1964, the aim of which is to create the preconditions for restoring the continuity of relations between the various sectors of the national economy and thus to prepare a basis for the achievement of the prospective objectives set by the 18th Congress of the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia, are in particular:
(a) the total volume shall be increased
Gross industrial production by 3,6%
Agricultural production by 6,5%
construction work carried out by its own staff by 6.0%
public transport of goods by 5,7%
b) Investment construction will reach 54.06 billion CZK
(c) the retail turnover will reach 106,00 billion CZK
(d) in Slovakia, the total volume of gross industrial production shall be increased by 7,2% and agricultural production by 12,9%; investment construction in Slovakia will reach 17.13 billion CZK.
(2) In order to develop the production and growth of social productivity, work will be made more quickly by introducing results of science and technology.
Tasks of the State Budget
The State Budget for 1964 provides funding for the planned tasks in accordance with the National Economy Development Plan.
Determination of State Budget
(1) The total revenue of the State budget is fixed at 130 414 335 000 Kč, the total expenditure is fixed at 130 318 335 000 Kč, thus showing a difference in the revenue and expenditure of the management of 96 000 000 Kcz.
(2) The national budget shall contain the budgets of the national committees, the revenue and expenditure of which shall be CZK 31 353 300 000.
Act No. 165 / 1960 Coll., on the Third Five Year Plan for the Development of the National Economy of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic, is hereby repealed.
This Act shall take effect on 1 January 1964.
