DECLARATION
Office for Patents and Inventions
of 14 November 1968
amending the Decree on representation of foreigners in proceedings before the Office for Patents and Inventions
The Office for Patents and Inventions in an Agreement with the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Foreign Trade and the Ministry of Finance shall determine, in accordance with Section 21 of Act No. 34 / 1957 Coll., on inventions, discoveries and improvements and under Section 34 of Act No. 8 / 1952 Coll., on Trademarks and Protected Designs:
The Decree of the President of the State Office for Inventions and Standardisation of 30.8.1957 No 168 / 1957 of the Czech Republic on the representation of foreigners in proceedings before the State Office for Inventions and Standardisation is amended as follows:
Persons who do not have their domicile or registered office in the territory of CSSR must be represented in the proceedings under Act No. 34 / 1957 Coll. and Act No. 8 / 1952 Coll., as well as under the regulations issued under these laws either
(a) by an attorney from legal advice No 1 or No 10 in Prague; or
(b) by a lawyer from another legal counsel or an authorised organisation; the list of such legal advisers and authorised organisations shall be published in agreement with the competent central authorities by the President of the Office for Patents and Inventions in the Office for Patents and Inventions Bulletin.
This Decree shall take effect on 1 January 1969.
