Government Regulation
of 7 June 1949
adjusting the general customs duties on imports of goods.
The Government of the Czechoslovak Republic hereby orders, pursuant to Article 1 of the Act of 21 December 1948, No 292 Coll., on the modification of the tariff during the transitional period:
The tariff schedule shall be amended as follows:
1. Note for number 9:
„Poznámka. Sušené fíky ve věncích nebo jinak balené, dovážené k výrobě kávových náhražek nebo k výrobě cukrovinek, na dovolovací list, pod dozorem a za podmínek stanovených nařízením | 50.—“. |
2. Note for the number 10:
„Poznámka. Zboží saz. čís. 10, dovážené k výrobě cukrovinek, na dovolovací list, pod dozorem a za podmínek stanovených nařízením | 40—“. |
3. The following note is inserted after the rate number 14:
„Poznámka. Datle dovážené k výrobě cukrovinek, na dovolovací list, pod dozorem a za podmínek stanovených nařízením, od 1. července do 31. prosince 1949 | beze cla“ |
4. The following note shall be inserted after the rate of number 44 (before the earlier note of number 44):
„Poznámka. Sušené řepné řízky nevyloužené, sušené brambory a bramborová moučka, vše ke krmným účelům, na osvědčení ministerstva výživy, od 1. července do 31. prosince 1949 | beze cla“. |
The heading of the previous note for the rate number 44 is: "Note to the rate number 39 and 44."
5. the following note shall be inserted after the rate (p. 250a) 1:
„Poznámka. T. zv. kordové látky z umělého hedvábí, dovážené k výrobě pneumatik, na dovolovací list, pod dozorem a za podmínek stanovených nařízením, od 1. července do 31. prosince 1949 | 800.–“. |
6. Note 3 at the number 284:
„3. Natronová celulosa, dovážená k výrobě natronového papíru a sulfitová celulosa, dovážená k výrobě vulkanfibru, k nitraci nebo k výrobě viskosy, na dovolovací list, pod dozorem a za podmínek stanovených nařízením, od 1. července do 31. prosince 1949 | beze cla“. |
7. the following two entries shall be replaced by the following:
"Notes.
| 1. Barytovaný papír, dovážený k výrobě fotografických papírů, na zvláštní povolení, za podmínek stanovených nařízením | beze cla. |
| 2. T. zv. keramické obtisky, na osvědčení Československé obchodní komory, od 1. července do 31. prosince 1949 | beze cla“. |
8. The following two entries shall be replaced by the following:
"Notes.
1. Stripes made of simple gold and silver paper... etc. (not changed).

9. The following note is inserted after the rate of number 318:
„Poznámka. Kaučukové desky podložené tkaninou z umělé stříže, dovážené k výrobě štočků, na dovolovací list, pod dozorem a za podmínek stanovených nařízením, od 1. července do 31. prosince 1949 | 720.—“. |
10. Note for the rate number 399 is deleted.
11. in the footnote (p. 420a), "110 kg, from 1 January" is replaced by "40 kg, from 1 July."
12. The time limit "until 30 June 1949" shall be replaced by "until 31 December 1949," for the notes for the rate (p. 604i) and for the rate (s) of 644.
For the period 1 July to 31 December 1949, the customs duties applicable to imports of goods falling within the following tariff headings shall be abolished:
1. Cocoa beans and peel.
Note for set number. 9. Dried figs in wreaths or otherwise packed, for the manufacture of coffee substitutes or confectionery, on a release note.
Note for set number 10. Goods set by No. 10 for the manufacture of sugar confectionery, on the note.
13. Lemons, limons, cements and oranges, loaded in salt water; immature small oranges; Orange, cedar and lemon bark, whether or not ground or in brine, loaded.
