THE LAW
of 12 December 1979
on the State Budget of the Czechoslovak Federation for 1980
The Federal Assembly of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic decided on this law:
1. The total revenue of the Federation State Budget is set at 164 130 400 000 CZK
The total expenditure of the Federation State Budget shall be set at CZK 164 130 400 000.

2. Of the total expenditure of the Federation State Budget:
A. Purpose subsidies to the state budgets of the Republics
- Czech Socialist Republic 24 497 810 000
- Slovak Socialist Republic 14 723 833 000
of which:
(a) grants for selected investment actions with range for the entire Federation and further development of the Republics
- Czech Socialist Republic 1 696 000 000
- Slovak Socialist Republic 747 000 000 Kcs
(b) grants for investments to carry out regional development tasks for organisations managed by federal authorities
- Slovak Socialist Republic 160 000 000 Kčs
c) non-investment grants for the development of North Bohemia Region, National Theatre and Palace of Culture in Prague 249 600 000 Kcs
(d) non-investment subsidies for state technical development programmes
- Czech Socialist Republic 560 138 000
- Slovak Socialist Republic 326 873 000 Kcs
(e) selected types of price subsidies and interventions
- Czech Socialist Republic 16939 100 000
- Slovak Socialist Republic 9 609 400 000
(f) subsidies for price increases and reductions in foreign trade

(g) subsidies for needs of a professional nature, including research and development tasks

B. Global subsidies

The Government of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic or, under its authority, the Minister of Finance may adjust the binding tasks and limits of the Federation State Budget, in particular in accordance with changes in the State Plan, changes in price, organisational changes, adjustments to economic instruments in foreign trade and the mobilisation of the government budget reserve. Such measures shall not affect the balance of the Federation State Budget.
This Act shall take effect on 1 January 1980.
