about the National Gallery in Prague.
The National Assembly of the Czechoslovak Republic decided on the following Act:
The National Gallery in Prague is a state institute whose task is to gather and manage painting, sculpting and graphic works of domestic and foreign art, and to study them scientifically and make them accessible to the public.
(1) The property of the Czechoslovak State is transferred without replacement of collections, which are owned by the Modern Gallery in Prague, as well as collections, which are either stored in the Modern Gallery in Prague as part of the remaining essence of the Czech country or form collections of the Graphics Department of the National Museum in Prague, including the Hollareum.
(2) The collections referred to in paragraph 1 are included in the collections of the National Gallery in Prague, together with the collections referred to in § 1 of the Act of 8 May 1936, No. 127 Coll., by which the Czechoslovak State acquires the collection of the Society of Patriotic Friends of Arts in Bohemia.
The National Gallery in Prague is directly subject to the Ministry of Education, Science and Art.
The Ministry of Education, Science and Art will adjust the status of the organization and administration of the National Gallery in Prague in agreement with the Ministry of Interior, Finance and Information and Information and with the Supreme Accounting Audit Office.
(1) Act No. 127 / 1936 Coll. is repealed.
(2) The wealth of the fund, established under § 3 of Act No. 127 / 1936 Coll., is transferred to the State.
(1) The talent of the Modern Gallery in Prague is abolished and, in addition to its assets, as referred to in Article I, Section 2, paragraph 1, it is transferred to the Czechoslovak State and its assets by others.
(2) The transfer of ownership rights to half the properties listed in the insert numbers. 984 and 1018 land books of the cadastral territory of the Royal Vinohrady, with the Modern Gallery in Prague on the Czechoslovak State (administration of education, science and art) will register a library court on a proposal from the Ministry of Technology, invoking this law.
This Act shall take effect on the day of its publication; It shall be carried out by the Minister of Education, Science and Art and by the Minister of Technology in agreement with participating members of the Government.
