GOVERNMENT REGULATION
of 12 June 2013
on the occupation of members of the Prison Service and the Judicial Guard of the Czech Republic in the period up to 31 July 2013
The Government orders pursuant to § 24a of Act No. 555 / 1992 Coll., on the Prison Service and the Judicial Guard of the Czech Republic, as amended by Act No. 436 / 2003 Coll. and Act No. 274 / 2008 Coll., and under § 22, paragraphs 1 and 2 of Act No. 273 / 2008 Coll., on the Police of the Czech Republic:
In order to carry out the tasks of the Police of the Czech Republic in order to ensure internal order and security in order to protect the lives, health and property of persons in the territory of the Czech Republic affected by floods, a maximum of 50 members of the Prison Service and the guards of the Czech Republic (hereinafter referred to as "Member of the Prison Service ') shall be called.
Members of the Prison Service shall carry out the tasks referred to in Section 1 under the command of a member of the Police of the Czech Republic. Members of the Prison Service shall carry out the duties assigned to them by arms and means of enforcement to the extent set out in Section 4.
The Director-General of the Prison Service of the Czech Republic shall designate the members of the Prison Service, including the extent of their equipment, equipment and technology, to carry out the tasks referred to in § 1.
Members of the Prison Service called to perform the tasks of the Police of the Czech Republic pursuant to § 1 have the authority and duties of a member of the Police of the Czech Republic to the extent provided for in § 2, 3, 9, 10 to 13, 18, 20, 24, 27, 34, 34a, 35, 37, 40 to 43, 51 to 59, 62, 63, 110, 111, 114 and § 115 of Act No. 273 / 2008 Coll., on the Police of the Czech Republic, as amended.
This Regulation shall enter into force on the day of its publication and shall expire on 31 July 2013.
