DECLARATION
of 26 May 2023
amending Decree No 309 / 2011 Coll., laying down the conditions for investigating bovine animals for bovine spongiform encephalopathy as part of the inspection of slaughter animals and meat, as amended by Decree No 136 / 2013 Coll.
The Ministry of Agriculture provides pursuant to Article 78 of Act No. 166 / 1999 Coll., on Veterinary Care and on the amendment of certain related laws (Veterinary Act), as amended by Act No. 131 / 2003 Coll., Act No. 316 / 2004 Coll., Act No. 48 / 2006 Coll., Act No. 182 / 2008 Coll., Act No. 227 / 2009 Coll., Act No. 308 / 2011 Coll., Act No. 359 / 2012 Coll., Act No. 249 / 2013 Coll., Act No. 75, paragraph 3 of the Veterinary Act:
Decree No 309 / 2011 Coll., laying down the conditions for the examination of bovine animals for bovine spongiform encephalopathy for the inspection of slaughter animals and meat, as amended by Decree No 136 / 2013 Coll., is hereby amended as follows:
1. footnote 4 shall read:
"(4) Annex III, Chapter A, Part I, point 2.1, second indent, to Regulation (EC) No 999 / 2001 of the European Parliament and of the Council. Regulation (EU) 2017 / 625 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 15 March 2017 on official controls and other official activities carried out to ensure the application of food and feed law and rules relating to animal health and animal welfare, plant health and plant protection products, amending Regulations (EC) No 999 / 2001 and (EC) No 396 / 2005, (EC) No 1069 / 2009, (EC) No 1107 / 2009, (EU) No 1151 / 2012, (EU) No 652 / 2014, (EU) 2016 / 429 / EC and (EU) 2016 / 2031, Council Regulation (EC) No 1 / 2005 and (EC) No 1099 / 2009 and Council Directives 98 / 58 / EC, 1999 / 74 / EC, 2007 / 43 / EC, 2008 / 119 / EC and 2008 / 120 / EC and repealing Regulation (EC).
2. in Article 2 (2) (a), the words "in the Czech Republic or" shall be deleted;
3. in Article 2 (2) (b), the words "with the exception of the Czech Republic" shall be deleted;
4. In § 3, the amount "750 CZK 'is replaced by" 1,078 CZK'.
5. In the Annex, the following point 7 is inserted after point 6:
"7. Croatia."
Points 7 to 25 shall be renumbered 8 to 26.
Efficacy
This Decree shall take effect on 1 July 2023.
