DECLARATION
of 9 July 2018
on the issue of the commemorative silver two hundred crowns for the 200th anniversary of the foundation of the National Museum
The Czech National Bank provides pursuant to § 22 paragraph 1 (a) of Act No. 6 / 1993 Coll., on the Czech National Bank, as amended by Act No. 89 / 2018 Coll.:
(1) On the 200th anniversary of the foundation of the National Museum, a commemorative silver coin of 200 CZK (hereinafter referred to as the "two hundred crowns") is issued.
(2) Two hundred koruna is issued in the normal version and in a special version with polished field of coin and matte relief (hereinafter "special version").
(3) The two-hundred korona in normal design and special design is cut from an alloy containing 925 parts of silver and 75 parts of copper. The weight of the 2-hundredth crown is 13 g, its diameter 31 mm and the force 2,3 mm. In the case of an embossing of two hundred crowns in normal and special design, the tolerance shall be 0,1 mm in diameter and 0,15 mm in thickness. In mass, the tolerance shall be up to 0,26 g and in the silver content shall be up to 1%. The edge of two hundred crowns in normal design is serrated, the edge of two hundred crowns in special design is smooth with the feature "CZECH NATIONAL BANKA * Ag 0.925 * 13 g *."
(1) On the front side of the two hundred crowns are represented two imaginary cases which contain selected exhibits of the National Museum. In the upper case are depicted the skeleton of the blue mouse, fossils of trilobity and stone sculptures of the head of Celta from Mšecký Žehrovice. In the lower case there is a bag, a lizard velescink kapverdean and a denar Byslav II. Among the cases is the name of the state "CZECH REPUBLIC." The coin field at the upper, left and right edges is filled with names of objects which are in the administration of the National Museum. The denomination of the coin with the abbreviation "200 CZK" is located at the bottom edge of the coin. The brand of the Czech Mint is placed under the head of the bag.
(2) The historical building of the National Museum and the new building of the National Museum are depicted on the reverse side of the two hundred koruna. The upper edge of the coin is the year "1818" and the lower edge of the coin is the year "2018." The text "NATIONAL MUSEUM 'is located in the middle of the coin field between buildings. On the left of this text is the Czech lion and on the right of the text are the initials of the author of the coin Mgr. Petr Horák, which are made up of composite letters" H "and" P. "
(3) The picture of the two hundred crown is given in the annex to this decree.
This Decision shall enter into force on 5 September 2018.
