GOVERNMENT REGULATION
of 12 June 2013
on the occupation of soldiers in active duty to carry out tasks of the Police of the Czech Republic in the period until 31 July 2013
The Government orders pursuant to § 14 (1) (b) of Act No. 219 / 1999 Coll., on the Armed Forces of the Czech Republic, as amended by Act No. 274 / 2008 Coll., and under § 22 (1) and (2) of Act No. 273 / 2008 Coll., on the Police of the Czech Republic:
In order to carry out the tasks of the Police of the Czech Republic in order to ensure internal order and security in order to protect the lives, health and property of persons in the territory of the Czech Republic affected by flooding, 300 soldiers are called in active service.
Soldiers in active service carry out tasks under Section 1 under the command of a member of the Police of the Czech Republic. Soldiers in active duty shall carry out the duties imposed on weapons and means of enforcement to the extent set out in Section 4.
The Minister of Defence shall designate soldiers in active service, including military equipment and equipment, to carry out the tasks referred to in Section 1.
Soldiers in active service called for the performance of tasks of the Police of the Czech Republic pursuant to § 1 have the authority and duties of a member of the Police of the Czech Republic to the extent set out in § 2, 3, 9, 10 to 13, 18, 20, 24 to 27, 34, 34a, 35, 37, 40 to 43, 51 to 59, 62 to 63, 110, 111, 114 and § 115 of Act No. 273 / 2008 Coll., on the Police of the Czech Republic, as amended.
This Regulation shall enter into force on the day of its publication and shall expire on 31 July 2013.
