GOVERNMENT REGULATION
of 16 June 1999
adjusting the amount of the charge for the use of motorways and express roads by road motor vehicles
Government orders the implementation of Act No. 13 / 1997 Coll., on the Road:
The fee for the use of the motorway and the express road ("the fee ') by a road motor vehicle with at least four wheels (" motor vehicle') or a combination of vehicles shall be:
(a) per calendar year for a motor vehicle or combination

| 2. | o celkové hmotnosti nad 3,5 tuny do 12 tun | 6 000 Kč, |
| 3. | o celkové hmotnosti nad 12 tun | 12 000 Kč; |
(b) per calendar month for a motor vehicle or combination
| 1. | do celkové hmotnosti 3,5 tuny | 200 Kč, |
| 2. | o celkové hmotnosti nad 3,5 tuny do 12 tun | 800 Kč, |
| 3. | o celkové hmotnosti nad 12 tun | 1 600 Kč; |
(c) for a period up to ten consecutive calendar days for a motor vehicle or a combination of vehicles
| 1. | do celkové hmotnosti 3,5 tuny | 100 Kč, |
| 2. | o celkové hmotnosti nad 3,5 tuny do 12 tun | 300 Kč, |
| 3. | o celkové hmotnosti nad 12 tun | 600 Kč. |
(1) The fee is paid before the use of the motorway or express road by a motor vehicle or combination. Payment of the fee shall be demonstrated by a valid sticker which:
(a) it complies with the model laid down in the specific legislation;
(b) the whole area in the motor vehicle or in the first motor vehicle of the combination is glued to the vehicle at the place specified by the specific legislation;
(c) contains an indication of a registration mark which corresponds to the registration mark affixed to a motor vehicle or to the first motor vehicle of the combination by which the motorway or express road is used;
(d) it shall include an indication of the period of validity corresponding to the time when the motorway or express road is used by a motor vehicle or combination;
(e) it shall have a value corresponding to the amount of the charge corresponding to the total mass of the motor vehicle or combination used by the motorway or express road.
(2) The label proving payment of the fee referred to in Article 1 (b) shall start on the last day of the calendar month preceding the calendar month indicated on the sticker and end on the first day of the immediately following calendar month.
(3) The label proving payment of the fee referred to in Article 1 (c) shall begin with the date indicated on the sticker and end with the expiry of 10 calendar days immediately thereafter.
(4) The labels proving payment of the fee referred to in § 1 (b) or (c) shall indicate the term of validity of the seller when selling them. The registration mark shall be marked by the driver of the motor vehicle or combination on the sticker at the latest before it is affixed.
The sticker proving payment of the 1999 fee shall be valid until 31 January 2000.
They shall be deleted:
1. Government Decree No. 281 / 1997 Coll., adjusting the amount of the fee for the use of motorways and express roads by road motor vehicles.
2. Government Decree No. 259 / 1998 Coll., amending Government Decree No. 281 / 1997 Coll., adjusting the amount of the charge for the use of motorways and express roads by road motor vehicles.
This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 January 2000.
