DECLARATION
Ministry of Finance
of 15 May 1996
laying down detailed conditions for the repayment of bail in connection with the holding of elections to the Parliament of the Czech Republic
The Ministry of Finance provides pursuant to § 35 (5) and § 65 (5) of Act No. 247 / 1995 Coll., on elections to Parliament of the Czech Republic and amending and supplementing certain other laws:
(1) Within three days of the announcement of the election results, the Regional Electoral Commission shall invite a political party, political movement or coalition if they have moved to the first skrutinia in the elections to the Chamber of Deputies to communicate to it, no later than ten days after the call, the address or account number to which the deposit is to be returned, unless the political party, political movement or coalition has also indicated this in the notification of the deposit. 1)
(2) Within the time limit referred to in paragraph 1, the Circular Election Commission shall invite the person who has submitted an application to register a candidate for election to the Senate if that candidate has obtained at least six per cent of the total number of valid votes in the constitution.2)
(3) On the basis of a pre-notified address or account number to which bail is to be refunded, or upon receipt of the report referred to in paragraph 1, the Regional Electoral Commission shall return the deposit within the statutory time limit (3), either by sending a postal order to the address indicated or by transferring it to the account communicated. Likewise, the District Electoral Commission is advancing.
This decree shall take effect on the day of its publication.
