GOVERNMENT REGULATION
of 12 June 2013
on the occupation of soldiers in active reserve for exceptional military exercises in the period up to 25 June 2013
The Government mandates pursuant to § 12 (4) of Act No. 585 / 2004 Coll., on the defence obligation and its provision (the Defence Act):
§ 1
In order to deal with serious situations affecting life, health, the environment and significant assets arising from floods in the Czech Republic during the period from the date of entry into force of this Government Regulation until 25 June 2013, a maximum of 80 soldiers in active reserve called for exceptional military exercises shall be used.
§ 2
The use of soldiers in an active reserve called for exceptional military exercises will be decided according to the territorial scope of the flood minister of the interior, mayor of the capital city of Prague or captain of the respective regions.
§ 3
The Minister of Defence shall designate troops in active reserve called for exceptional military exercises, including military equipment, to carry out their tasks under Section 1.
§ 4
This Regulation shall enter into force on the day of its publication and shall expire on 25 June 2013.
